THE CAMEL ASKED FOR HORNS; AND THEY TOOK AWAY HIS EARS!

Everyone would have heard the parable in which a greedy man had a hen which laid one golden egg per day. The evil hit his mind to slaughter the hen in order to get dozens of eggs all at once. What he got??? Nothing from everything! He lost even what he had in the quest for more and more. But that’s an old story. Listen to the 21st century’s.

A coffin lied between the people mourning the murder of a person in an open ground. The wise man appeared and sat beside the one who was silent and indifferent from what was going on. He felt absurd about him and approached him for he knew still waters run deep. The wise man said:

“Excuse me. Your name”?
He replied:
“My name is John”.
The wise man said:
‘Ok Mr.John! can you please tell me how this tragedy took place”?
He remarked:
(A Deep Sigh) “Poor old chap!”

He was an opulent but little man leading one of the world’s most renowned firms. He was the chief executive of a company dealing with Information Technology. He provided quality and quantity in the form of his work and functionaries. Workaholic he was, without doubt, but his mind worked on negative designs more than on constructive. He used to say cunningly. “If something can be done through shortcut, why on earth we opt for a long, tedious path???”

The form under his leadership went well. He employed and trained a large body of workers. Their output had been increasing with every passing day. He manipulated ideas and his staff manifested them. They were progressing by leaps and bounds. At length, they reached the apex of success. Exactly then, they introduced their new, highly purchased product “portable micro-computer”.

All was going well with quiet and calm. It certainly applied on him.

There is always a lull before a storm…..

Here a storm came that blew him away. He read about the “cloning of a gene” of animals and plants in “Recombinant DNA Technology” one weekend. Humans could be cloned too i.e their gene type and phenotype could be altered to produce the most refined from in the form of brain and brawn. He was so very moved by the idea that he did not give any attention to the drawback enunciated by the scientist.

“Man could not be cloned with best traits for it is immortal and can potentially cause serious ecological repercussions”

The wise man here interrupted: “But why did he want to attempt it?”
“It’s simple. For the sake of more and more!”

He wanted to replace his functionaries with the genetically engineered humans with the best traits who could stir and revolutionize the field of IT with the power of their mind. He approached some biologists but they did not endorse his idea for they feared persecution, and ruining of their careers. But since he worshiped the god of money, he continued anyhow. He used money as a bait to seduce. It worked! He suggested cloning 12 of his employees for they would emulate hundreds of employees. Their minds would work in conformity with the pace of computers.

Everything was happening according to plan. He was able to see his dream coming true. They were cloned!!! He was stupefied beholding them in front of him. He exterminated his former employees. Neo-humans came up to the mark. They revolutionized the field and made tremendous discoveries. But they revolutionized in another aspect also.

They killed their god-father……

The wise man baffled and uttered: “Why? Why?”

Mr.John replied: “If they excelled other humans in mind and power., how could they be subjugated and easily fellow the authority of one inferior to them???”

Evil has in it the seeds of self-damnation.

The wise man said: “Poor old little fellow! But Mr.John! How do you know the matter so profoundly?”

Then John replied: “I was the personal secretarial of his!!!”
