I wish I could have power to pick blue colours from the sky
And fill in my Phrases to attract attention of your eyes.
I wish I could have power to pluck sunset hues
And write a beautiful poem on dew
I wish I could have power to dive into the depths of seas
Or steal green shade of youthful trees
I wish I could have power to compose beautiful words
And by some magical charm, switch them into birds
I wish I could have power to wipe out your tears
And sing songs of happiness into your ears
I wish I could have power to run back time
And hold hands and stop you from parting
I wish, I wish and I can only wish!
There might come a day,
Of all my wishes, the dawn shall break,
The scattered bliss shall amalgamate,
The buds of my imagination shall bloom,
There might come the day
The chains of my wishes shall snap
Satisfied shall I sit in elation’s lap
Ecstasy shall envelope me
All exuberance, all delight and all glee
I wish for the day to come
