Away from the sun , away from the heat
A valley whose Beauty greets!!
In the lap of those high crust mountains
The placid flowing river, amazing fountains
Touched silently the core of my heart and provided me with an eternal bliss,
Far and wide where sight could go
Lay exposed beauty, with nature’s glow and when wind passes from mighty tree grooves
Its boughs happily dance with elegant moves
“Hiss” comes the pleasing sound
From gigantic trees so profound
Charming flowers looking so colorful and gay
Covering themselves with dew drops veil
Calm cattle wondering in meadows
Grazing leisurely in sun, resting shadows
Innocent faces with bright eyes
Towering spirits with hopes so high
Vales coming with their gay laughter
Trying to make easy their difficult task,
So active so vigilant the women work
Performing their duties from dawn to dusk
Slowly goes down the setting sun
And then it is the night’s turn
Behind the hill the lovely moon appears
And the extraordinary beauty it bears
Can’t be explained in mere words
As beautiful as a blooming flower among all closed buds!!
Rivers, which at day time look so calm and fine
Now dash their waves against emerald coastline
Sending the gusts of wind so freezing and cold
Making us creep into the folds
In our covers to get the ease
And amuse ourselves with fragrance;
Carried by the gentle breeze
Now I’m back in warmth and heat
Lying tired boring on my seat
But still that beauty haunts my mind
And relieves me off my daily grind
That trip to heaven can be forgotten never!!
As it is rightly said,
A thing of Beauty is a Joy forever!
