Today everything we do, we do for the sake of competition. For, amongest the people who work hard many do not do it not for the sake of gaining knowledge and for its love but for the sake of competiton. Even in personal relationship competition matters. We wear nice clothes, apply tones of makeup, indulge in fashion not for anything else but to look better than others. You may find that you do a number of things for the sake of competition, to look better than other secretly, perhaps you may also wish that other people be envious of how wonderful you are. It is no use working hard if the intention is not to gain knowledge or to serve your family and country, to have the desire to be above and better than others. After all it is the intention behind our actions that really matters. So start comparing yourself with yourself. What’s more is that the world will have no more Einstein’s or Newton’s if such small reasons and petty priorities become stimulus and motivation for hard work.
